Why it was created

Organizations kept building their own maps. People kept using different websites and apps to find information about the same community.

We believe the community itself should be the starting point.

Local Commons puts information about a place together while allowing the people and organizations contributing it to maintain ownership of their information.

Local Commons is the product people use. LocalXP is the technology underneath it, not a second app people need to come back to.
